Lol, I just repeated Watching this ep just to see if he was actually that nerfed, but it's not that at all. At first we all know that Naruto pretended that he was about to lose, but Delta found out and then Delta told him that she wouldn't fall for that. The second part where Naruto and Delta were fighting in combats, it seemed like he was somehow having a hard time, but that's because he was trying to make Delta use all of the chakra she has by pretending to be locked on getting hit by her beams, then he just dodges and repeats the formula of that trick. Also, that's the reason why Delta told him he's an over- the- hill trickster because she didn't realize that until she fired her 3rd beam while on their fighting combat. So she tried to use the kids as her bait to catch him off guard. When Himawari was thown up, Naruto quickly went up first before the beam bursted, but the beam was faster, when Naruto finally grabbed Himawari, the beam was, already too close, if he does his fastest to use shadow clones, then just when a shadow clone has appeared then that's the same time they got hit by that beam. That something wrong actually, is that kawaki shouldn't have come on time, but for plot's sake and for their lives to be saved, they made kawaki be able to catch up. Naruto wasn't weak at punches and kicks, he was trying to match her up, too, because he wanted her to spill the truth about their plans. Too bad that he had to plan to actually beat her till she can't go on anymore, while trying to not over do it.

Btw about the formula of that trick I was talking Abt if u don't know:
Pretend losing + making her attack + dodging it = releasing her chakra x 3

Yh we all know that but nope, almost like a flying raishin but that's speed instead of teleport so u could say that when on air, he'll have to use something like kagebunshin to throw him down or wind style, but since time doesn't await for a man, he'd have no time to finish it, and I doubt that the author added him one more wind style since even in movie the last, he didn't. The last wind style jutsu he had was only rasenshuriken powered-up so I didn't get high hopes on this.
